You CAN navigate trauma

Hello beautiful Souls, today I am sharing my thoughts on resolving trauma.

Untreated trauma diminishes our ability to establish and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships and these attachment dissociations can interfere with our wellbeing and our resilience.

Trauma can be addressed, and when our ability to form lasting, meaningful, healthy relationships, that are so critical to our sense of security, is restored, we can navigate a way forward.

Shame, guilt and fear can be dealt with when it has a safe space to go.

Techniques, tools and support are all available to assist with Trauma. We do not have to be alone.

Through wisdom and guidance, we can explore the ways unresolved trauma is affecting our thoughts and mindset in our lives and how we can restore ourselves to a sense of safety and better mental health.

It seems that so many find themselves harbouring the effects of trauma by going the route of silence and thinking that it will disappear in the stillness. It becomes a dusassociation and disengagement. This leads to depression and anxiety within.

When we find a safe space to process and unpack our journey we will have a different perspective of the situation. When we choose to share our trauma in the correct space it provides a better understanding and more solutions to challenges will be achieved.

It is not possible to be of support to someone or for them to be able to understand their trauma if they are not sharing, communicating and having a voice that is heard. It has to be in a healthy and balance environment.

It’s a powerful moment when we realise that we can no longer maintain the status-quo and that the fear that firmly stands between us and our freedom to choose a different path is so strong that it paralyses us to make a move.

But eventually, despite that fear, a time comes when we are ready, when we boldly step forward and act toward creating a new future for ourselves. We have to be reminded that this space we are in is temporary and we cannot take back this trauma.

We CAN learn to navigate and manage our journey forwards so that it does not cripple and define our state of being.

We have to learn to reach out, and also to stop the "noise" inside. It's time to find the inner peace.
