Hello beautiful souls. My message today is about taking accountability for acceptance.
Helen Keller said: "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart." When we look at acceptance in life we have to feel this with the heart to truly have a sense of "knowing." This is real acceptance.
When someone offers you a gift and you don't accept it. To whom does it belong? Is it the one who offers It? It's the same with envy and offerings with an ulterior motive. If you refuse these "gifts" they will then belong to those who offer them.
We do for some reason find ourselves more accepting of the "gifts" that we do not necessarily want to accept. It is often not easy to accept well intended gifts. Sometimes we find well intended gifts make us feel awkward. Is it easier to reject what is offered kindly?
Think about this for a moment. Acceptance is our own responsibility and sometimes our acceptance is about whatever comes...let it come, whatever stays...let it stay and whatever goes...let it go! Acceptance is permitting a situation to be what it is and that what is meant to be is...meant to be.
We have to take accountability for everything that we accept. Whether we allow it or not allow it , it must be what serves us best always .. it is the key to being accountable.
