Hello beautiful Souls. Today my message is about taking small bite size pieces.
Reduce the load, not everyone needs to be a professional stacker! We pile up one challenge on top another and the pile grows so high we can no longer see over the top!
Breaking things down into bite size pieces is a very simple way of coping with taking on to mucking futch!. This is a sure way of facing burn out and we find ourselves becoming overwhelmed.
We have to learn to delegate some of the work load, do only one thing at a time and only do it once! Do not come back and second guess yourself. Do it once, slowly and to the best of your ability.
Multi-tasking also sets us up for overload. It is not selfish to ask for help and it is important to remember that if you continue to do everything, then others will do zip zero, nothing at all. If you don't allow others to do things they will also never learn to do them.
We have to get to a point where we realise we ARE replaceable and even though the job might be done differently it can be done by someone else. We are not infalable and we need to pace ourselves to only do bite size tasks at a time.
It's all about balance and moderation. We sometimes think we are the only one's able to do something right. It's time to tell yourself to slow down and just have a bite of the apple at a time.
