Be kind to yourself also!

Hello beautiful Souls Good day to you all. Today my message is about being gentle with yourself.

We certainly are our worst enemies a lot of the time. So often I hear people say "I am not judgemental or critical", yet I observe them being this way to themselves regularly. This is something we really need to become more aware of. When we criticize and make negative comments about ourselves we depreciate our worth.

We are hurting and making ourselves sad. It is equally disrespectful to be judgemental to ourselves as it is to others. When you are having a difficult day or feeling depressed you ARE allowed to indulge in a "I feel sorry for myself" and it's ok to feel not ok sometimes. Be mindful of allowing yourself to have a few not so OK moments to process and acknowledge your feelings.

What is important is how you speak to yourself. Look for the space that allows you to feel like you are healing and through this healing you can grow by learning the lessons of your struggles! This thought process is altered when you think along the lines of " I am broken and helpless". You can find yourself following a learnt behaviour of self destruction.

Telling yourself you look ugly, are fat, are incompetent or unable to do anything without taking action to correct this is setting you up for failure. Instead of this "bad mouthing" yourself, ask yourself what It is that you can do to improve what you really want and take action to achieve It. It is about learning to accept and love yourself too.

This also applies to relationships where you tend to give more and not receive the same in return. Not everyone is able to love or be kind unconditionally and it is important to recognise that it is not about you. It is simply maybe not meant to be. If you feel you are being rejected, it is usually because the other party is not worthy of your kindness and dealing with their own insecurities and doubts.

Work on being in the present and find surrender and acceptance for each day...as a new day. May each new day bring you renewed energy and a positive mindset to start a new day and have an absolutely fabulistic day today! You ARE enough. You will receive what is due to your kind Soul.
